摘  要:普鲁塔克在《名人传》中虽少有直接详述传主的教育内容,却巧妙地将之与传主品行联系起来,从而突显教育的重要性。普鲁塔克的教育叙述强调习性与美德两大要素,指出传主的习性在一定程度上影响其对教育的态度及对教育内容的选择。在教育内容上,普鲁塔克推崇希腊教育中的美德教育,并试图从传主们对希腊教育的接纳程度和学习深度上来解释他们的成败;在教育的本质上,普鲁塔克坚持贯彻道德训诫,并寄望通过自己的著述唤起人们对教育的重视,强调美德在教育过程中不可或缺的重要意义。In The Parallel Lives,notwithstanding Plutarch seldom directly elaborated on the educational content of his protagonists,he skillfully connected it with their characters,thereby highlighting the importance of education.Plutarch's educational narrative emphasized two key elements:character and virtue.He pointed out that the protagonists'characters influenced their attitudes toward education and their choices of educational contents to some extent.In terms of educational contents,Plutarch advocated for the Greek model of moral education and attempted to explain the successes and failures of his protagonists based on their acceptance of Greek education and the depth of their learning.Regarding the essence of education,Plutarch insisted on the implementation of moral precepts and hoped that his writings would arouse people's attention to education,emphasizing the importance of virtue as an indispensable part of the educational process.
