摘　　要：作为中国现代雕塑先驱和我国现代雕塑教育的先行者之一,李金发履职广州市市立美术学校校长的办学实践鲜为人知,未获学界充分关注。本文通过新材料的发掘和亲历者的口述,重点从李金发出任校长的因缘探究、师资与学科构建、办学成果三个板块进行钩沉,透析早期留洋艺术家投身中国美术教育的时代之变,将西方美术观念移植到中国本土时所产生的效应。李金发力图构建现代精神下专业化的新型艺术教育,对我国现代美术教育的建构具有积极的探索意义。Li Jinfa,as a pioneer of modern Chinese sculpture and one of the forerunners of modern sculpture education in China,was the principal of Guangzhou Municipal Academy of Fine Arts,an experience that was barely known and thus received little attention from the academic community.Based on new materials and oral accounts of witnesses,this article explores reasons behind Li Jinfa's appointment as principal,the development of teachers and disciplines and fruitful results of his work,and analyzes changes at that time when artists studying abroad devoted themselves to art education and the effects of spreading western artistic concepts to China.Li Jinfa's efforts to build a new type of professional art education with modern spirits can be considered a positive exploration in the development of modern art education in China.
