摘 要:个性化外语教育一直备受重视,外语教育界不断推出创新举措。大语言模型的兴起则为个性化外语教育提供了全新契机。本文从主体和主体间两个维度,探讨大语言模型对个性化外语教育发展的中介作用。在主体维度上,大语言模型可以生成符合学生个体内在特点(如语言水平、认知风格、兴趣爱好等)的教学材料和教学设计;在主体间维度上,大语言模型可以辅助编制出适应不同互动场景的跨文化教学设计。概言之,广大外语专业师生均需积极应变,提升人文素养和智能素养。在大语言模型背景下,外语专业学生需要不断提升自我调节学习的能力,教师则须在这一过程中为学生提供个性化指导。唯有如此才能实现“师—生—机”三者有机互动,真正成就个性化外语人才的培养。Personalized foreign language education has long been a focal point of attention in the field,with continuous introduction of innovative measures.The advent of large language models(LLMs)presents a novel opportunity for advancing personalized foreign language education.This paper examines the mediational role of LLMs in the development of personalized foreign language education from two dimensions:The subjective and the intersubjective.On the subjective dimension,LLMs can generate teaching materials and instructional designs tailored to individual learners'intrinsic characteristics,such as language proficiency,cognitive styles,and personal interests.On the intersubjective dimension,LLMs can assist in designing intercultural teaching strategies adapted to various interactive communication scenarios.In a nutshell,foreign language educators and learners alike must proactively adapt,enhancing their humanistic and AI literacies.Against the backdrop of LLMs,foreign language students,in particular,should focus on improving their self-regulated learning abilities.Teachers,meanwhile,should provide personalized guidance throughout this process.Only through“teacher-student-AI”synergy can personalized foreign language talent cultivation reach its potential.
