摘　　要：ChatGPT以其强大的学习能力、庞大的数据库资源以及海量知识的存储技术在教育领域备受关注,引领着教学方式的改革和创新。文章以英语语言教学作为研究对象,分析了ChatGPT在英语语言教学的价值定位,并以ChatGPT赋能英语语言教学进行课程设计,探讨基于ChatGPT在英语语言教学中的应用效果。研究表明,ChatGPT赋能英语语言教学,能显著提升学生的语言词汇储备能力、文字内容理解能力和语言实践交流能力。ChatGPT has attracted significant attention in the field of education due to its powerful learning capabilities,vast database resources,and extensive knowledge storage technology,leading the reform and innovation of teaching methods.This article focuses on English language teaching as the research subject,analyzing the value positioning of ChatGPT in English language instruction,and discusses course design empowered by ChatGPT.It explores the application effects of ChatGPT in English language teaching.The research indicates that ChatGPT empowers English language education,significantly enhancing students’vocabulary acquisition,text comprehension,and practical communication skills.
