摘  要:Constituting 6.5%to 19.6%of all stroke cases worldwide,non-traumatic intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH)represents the most devastating form of stroke,with aging,male gender,and hypertension being important risk factors that predispose individuals to ICH[1,2].Injuries following episodes of ICH can be classified into two forms,namely(1)primary injury arising from mechanical pressure exerted by the hematoma on adjacent tissues,(2)secondary injury resulting from oxidative stress and inflammation mediated by blood cell degradation products and coagulation factors[3].
