摘 要:作为高校核心竞争力,教学学术能力对地方院校外语教师专业发展具有特殊价值。对Y校2019—2023年外语教师教学学术成果的分析表明,教师以课程开发和教学设计为表征的教学学术能力发展受阻严重,在成果方面未能得到充分体现和认可。研究发现,这主要因为教师个体缺乏教学学术的精进思维;教师群体缺乏沟通协作、教学学术氛围不足;教学学术能力发展的激励机制有待健全;以及教学学术缺乏必要的条件保障。因此,应倡导教师注重教学实践反思,推进课堂行动研究;按外语学科发展规律分类评价教学学术成果;积极开展有组织的教研,构建教学学术共同体;学校应加大教学投入,保障教学研究条件,以突破教学学术能力发展瓶颈。Local university foreign language faculty’s capacity for scholarship of teaching and learning,as the core competence of colleges and universities is of particular value.It’s been revealed,according to statistics of the foreign language faculty’s achievements of scholarship of teaching and learning during 2019-2023 in Y University,that the faculty have met with serious developmental impediments in their capacity for scholarship of teaching and learning symbolized with curriculum development and teaching design,and their status hasn’t been sufficiently reflected and accepted.It’s been found that it’s because of their shortage of thinking of reflection and improvement,lack of cooperation and communication and the atmosphere for scholarship of teaching and learning,insufficiency of stimulation mechanism and indispensable supporting conditions.Therefore,it’s been advocated that the faculty emphasize their practical reflection in teaching and promote classroom action research,the society evaluate the teaching scholastic achievements on the basis of foreign language discipline,the faculty strengthen the awareness of cooperation and establish the community of teaching scholarship,and the university increase the investment to guarantee the supporting conditions.These four precautions should be taken to break through the bottleneck of fostering the faculty’s capacity for scholarship of teaching and learning.
