《红楼梦》金陵判词英译“文学性”再现研究——以杨译本和霍译本为例

摘　　要：基于《红楼梦》杨译本和霍译本,本文以其中金陵判词英译为研究对象,从音乐性、修辞方法、人物形象和命运暗示四个维度,考查并比较原文“文学性”在译文中的再现情况。本研究认为,译文文学性的高低不是简单地量化叠加,而是注重整体艺术效果的传达,译文文学性的生成应是以保证整体艺术效果和诗学价值为前提。Based on the English versions of Hong Lou Meng translated by Yang Xianyi and Gladys Yang and by David Hawkes and John Minford,this paper analyzes and compares the recreation of literariness of Jinling Panci in the two English versions from four aspects,musical characteristics,rhetoric,character images,and fate implication.The literariness of the translation is not simply evaluated by its parts,but lies in its overall artistic effect.And it can only be achieved on the premise of pursuing the overall artistic effect and keeping to poetic value.
