摘  要:本文探索“四新”建设下的理工科大学外语学科如何回应新文科建设和新工科建设需求,承担起人才支撑、能力加持、融通交流的重任。文章首先探讨了理工科大学外语学科需要应对的新时代所带来的战略使命之变、教育格局之变、教育生态之变、育人机制之变。基于此,文章提出理工科大学“外语+”复合型人才培养范式,强调外语学科要协同发展外语教育的“三个阵地”,以产学研协同育人、国际化实践育人、跨学科合作育人、数字化智慧育人为支撑,构建外语教育新生态。文章以哈尔滨工业大学外语育人方案为例,阐释上述人才培养范式的实施途径,为理工科大学外语学科建设提供有益的借鉴和启示。This paper explores how foreign language(FL)discipline in science and engineering universities can respond to the demands of new liberal arts and new engineering development under the"Four New Disciplines"initiative,shouldering the responsibilities of talent support,capability enhancement,and communication facilitation.The paper first examines transformations brought by the new era that FL discipline in science and engineering universities needs to address,including changes in strategic missions,educational landscape,educational ecology,and talent cultivation mechanisms.Based on this,the paper proposes a"foreign languages+"paradigm for cultivating versatile talents in science and engineering universities,highlighting the need for coordinating the"three fronts"of FL education.It emphasizes the supporting roles of industry-university-research collaboration,international education,interdisciplinary integration,and digital intelligent education in FL discipline development,all of which aim to build a new ecology for FL education.The paper takes the practice of Harbin Institute of Technology as an example to illustrate the implementation pathways of the proposed paradigm,offering valuable insights and inspirations for FL discipline development in science and engineering universities.
