摘 要:大学英语是全面实施新农科建设的有力推手。首先根据新农科的内涵,分析了新农科人才培养方案对农林专业学生外语能力提出的新要求,进而提出构建一个将大学英语与其他学科知识交叉融合的课程体系,着力培养学生就农林领域问题进行跨文化交流、合作、竞争所需的英语能力。研究提出大学英语课程积极借鉴新农科人才培养理念,通过优化课程内容和教师的知识结构,创新教学模式,采用多元化评价方式,全面提升学生的英语能力和综合素养,真正助力学生用英语讲好中国农林故事,为建设有中国特色的农业强国、参与全球农业竞争和粮农治理贡献力量。College English is a powerful driving force for the comprehensive implementation of New Agricultural Science(NAS).Based on the connotation of NAS,this study first analyzes the new requirements for foreign language proficiency posed by the NAS Talents Cultivation Program for students majoring in Agriculture and Forestry.Subsequently,it proposes developing an interdisciplinary curriculum framework that integrates College English with other academic disciplines,focusing on cultivating students'English proficiency needed for cross-cultural communication,cooperation,and competition in Agriculture and Forestry.Accordingly,College English teaching should systematically incorporate the philosophy of the NAS Talents Cultivation Program to upgrade course contents and teachers'knowledge base,innovate teaching modes,and adopt diversified evaluation methods to comprehensively improve students'English proficiency and comprehensive literacy to tell good Chinese agricultural and forestry stories and to contribute to the building of a strong agricultural country with Chinese characteristics,e ngage in global agricultural competition,and participate in governance of food and agriculture.
