开拓文学空间研究新领域——评方英著《文学空间批评》

摘　　要：随着西方哲学社会科学领域的“空间转向”,“文学空间研究”不断发展和兴盛。在此背景下,方英教授的专著《文学空间批评》为中国的文学研究贡献了一部力作,开拓了文学研究的新领域。该书结合多学科空间理论,提出“文学空间批评”,并重点讨论了该研究的几个问题:文学空间批评的研究范式和问题域、文学空间研究中的几个前沿话题(处所意识、文学绘图、地理批评等)、文学中的主要空间类型、空间与权力、空间与存在、空间与意识形态、空间与性别、空间与伦理等;并对经典文本展开空间批评;由此建构起该研究领域的初步理论体系。该书具有一定前沿性和创新性:提出了新问题,引入了新理论,探索了文学批评新路径,提出了有价值的新观点。此外,该书还具有马克思主义文学批评特点,是对马克思主义空间研究的新探索。Against the backdrop of the“spatial turn”in the Western philosophy and social sciences as well as the development and prosperity of“spatial literary studies”,Fang Ying's monograph Spatial Literary Criticism can be viewed as a significant contribution to China's literary studies and an exploration of a new field in literary studies.Drawing on multi-disciplinary spatial theories,the book advocates the concept of“spatial literary criticism”,and focuses on discussing several issues in this research field:the research paradigm and problematic of spatial literary criticism,several cutting-edge topics in the spatial literary studies(topophrenia,literary cartography,geocriticism,among others),the main types of space in literature,space and power,space and existence,space and ideology,space and gender,space and ethics,and the like;it also incorperates the practice of spatial criticism on classic literary texts,thereby establishing a preliminary theoretical system in this research field.The book has certain cutting-edge and innovative features:it raises new questions,introduces new theories,explores new approaches to literary criticism,and puts forward some valuable new viewpoints.In addition,the book is also characterized by Marxist literary criticism and can be seen as a new exploration of Marxist spatial studies.
