日本高校对学生使用生成式人工智能技术的立场及启示——基于359份日本高校政策样本的分析

摘  要:生成式人工智能的出现使得高等教育中滥用人工智能生成内容的行为出现了升级和异化的趋势。基于359份高校政策样本的分析发现,日本高校正积极应对生成式人工智能的使用问题,并根据不同的教学理念与立场,从行为规范和评估考核两方面入手进行探索和回应。在学生使用人工智能生成内容的行为规范上形成了包括“禁止直接使用”“一般禁止,例外允许”“教师自由裁量”“鼓励使用”等的严宽行为规范,其中“一般禁止,例外允许”模式正日渐成为主流模式。同时,日本高校从事前准备试用与提供设备、事中隔绝人工智能以及事后多方认定的三个维度提出了相应的评估考核改革方案。在比较两国就使用生成式人工智能技术更加广泛的共性基础与差异特点的前提下,日本高校的经验可以为我国高校应对生成式人工智能技术提供镜鉴。The advent of generative artificial intelligence has intensified the misuse of AI-generated content in higher education,leading to new forms of academic misconduct.An analysis of 359 university policy samples reveals that Japanese universities are actively addressing this issue.They have explored and responded through the establishment of behavioral norms and assessment reforms,guided by diverse pedagogical philosophies and stances.Regarding behavioral norms for the use of AI-generated content,these universities have implemented guidelines ranging from"prohibiting direct use","general prohibition with exceptions","instructor discretion",to"encouraging use",with the"general prohibition with exceptions"model increasingly becoming mainstream.Concurrently,Japanese universities have proposed corresponding evaluation and assessment reforms across three dimensions:pre-use preparation and equipment provision,isolating AI during the process,and multi-party verification post-assessment.By comparing the broader commonalities and differences in the use of generative AI technologies between Japan and China,the experiences of Japanese universities can provide valuable insights for Chinese universities in addressing the challenges posed by generative AI technologies.
