摘 要:“敬”是中国传统思想中的重要组成部分,在中国大致经历了从原始宗教式畏惧到自觉主动反省,再到心性修养的演变过程。“敬”思想的传承不仅在中国历史悠久,而且对日本与韩国等东亚国家也产生了深远影响。在日本人的独特理解中,“敬”不仅是对权威或知识的尊敬,同时也包含了对他人感情、处境、苦难的“怜悯”;在李退溪等韩国大儒的解读中,“敬”是一种对待生活的态度和方式。“敬”思想在东亚世界的传播与演变展示出中国传统文化的深远影响,同时说明“敬”思想在当代中国的传承与创新具有重要的现实意义。The concept of“Jing(reverence)”,a fundamental element of traditional Chinese thought,encompasses an evolution from the religious fear,advancing to a phase of self-aware in-trospection,and culminating in a focused appreciation of moral and spiritual cultivation.This se-quential transformation is not confined within the boundaries of Chinese history;rather,it deeply permeates and significantly impacts other East Asian nations including Japan and Korea.For Japanese,“Jing(reverence)”not only means the respect for authority or knowledge but also sympathy for the mood,plights and misery of others.Meanwhile,from the viewpoint of the re-nowned Korean Confucian scholars such as Yi Hwang,“Jing(reverence)”embodies a distinctive philosophy of life.The diffusion and evolution of“Jing(reverence)”across the East Asian world demonstrates the profound impact of traditional Chinese culture and underlines the significant practical relevance of its contemporary transmission and innovation in China.
