摘  要:崇高是一个重要的美学范畴,这个范畴与美具有对立统一的关系。在西方与中国,这种对立统一关系的形成有不同路径。在西方,崇高概念经历了从风格和伦理到自然的过程;在中国,相应的概念与阴阳相生相合的宇宙观结合在一起。在现代社会,“崇高”概念无论在对自然美还是艺术美的欣赏中都起着重要作用。更为值得注意的是,这一概念在现代再次实现伦理转向,进入到社会生活之中。Sublime is a pivotal aesthetic concept that is in a dialectical unity with beauty.This relationship has followed distinct developmental trajectories in the West and China.In the Western context,the concept of sublime has successively associated with style,ethics and nature.In China,the analogous concept is intertwined with the cosmological view of the complementary and harmonious interplay of yin and yang.In contemporary society,the concept of sublime holds significance in the appreciation of both natural and artistic beauty.More notably,it has undergone a re-ethicalization in modern times marked by its penetration into social life.
