颜渊的诗性品质与思想人格——重新探讨颜渊人格典范的思想价值

摘  要:对于《论语》中颜渊的人格品质,受汉儒、宋儒学术立场的影响,学界大多依据颜渊“三月不违仁”与“不改其乐”两则文本,以阐发颜渊的道德品质与人格典范。通观《论语》,我们会发现颜渊还有一种发源于孔门诗教的诗性品质,表现在“好学”“闻一而知十”“退而省其私”“循循善诱”等方面,它们内生为兴起、唤发仁学精神的思想品质,外化为领悟、反省仁学精神的实践能力。就《论语》中颜渊人格品质的整体来说,其道德品质与诗性品质都是不可或缺的;唯有在孔子仁学的思想创造活动中,才能够理解这种诗性品质更为根本的、原发的思想价值,由此还原颜渊人格典范的另一面:思想人格。Regarding the personality traits of Yanyuan in the Analects, influenced by the academic positions of scholars in Han dynasty and scholars in Song dynasty, the academic community mostly pays attention to Yanyuan's two texts: “for three months did not stray from Benevolence” and “never spoiled Hui's joy”, in order to elucidate Yanyuan's moral characters and role models.Looking at the original classics of the Analects, we can find that Yanyuan also has a poetic feature that originated from the Confucian poetics, manifested in aspects such as “love learning” “learns one thing and thereby understands ten” “and yet when we retire and I observe his private behavior”and “skilled at gradually leading”. They are endogenous ideological qualities that rise and awaken the spirit of benevolence, and externalized as practical abilities to comprehend and reflect on the spirit of benevolence. In terms of the overall personality traits of Yanyuan in the Analects, both his moral and poetic characters are indispensable;only in the creative activities of Confucius' theory of benevolence can we understand the fundamental and original ideological value of this poetic feature, and thus restore the other side of Yanyuan's role models: ideological personality.
