摘  要:随着全球化进程不断加速,经济社会对高素质英语技能人才的实际需求不断增加,信息处理技术的大力发展对高职院校的英语教学提出了新的要求,高职英语教学应顺应“互联网+教育”的发展,运用现代信息技术改进教学方式。运用多模态理论创新英语教学是实现信息技术与教育领域深度融合的有效途径。以多模态理论为指导,以苏州百年职业学院“基础英语I(核心)”课程为例,从培养目标、课程内容、教学实施、学业评价四方面探究多模态理论在高职英语教学中的应用,以期推进高职英语的多模态教学创改,为高职英语教学问题提供参考。With the acceleration of globalization,the economic and social demand for high-quality English talents is increasing.The vigorous development of information processing technology also puts forward new requirements for English teaching in higher vocational colleges.Higher vocational English should conform to the development of“Internet+education”and use modern information technology to improve education and teaching.Using multimodal theory to innovate English teaching is an effective way to realize the deep integration of information technology and education.This paper,guided by the multimodal theory and taking English Foundation Ⅰ(Core)of Suzhou Centennial College as an example,explores the application of multimodal theory in English teaching in higher vocational colleges from four aspects:training objectives,course content,teaching implementation and academic evaluation,with a view to promoting the innovation of multimodal teaching in higher vocational English and providing references for English teaching in higher vocational colleges.
