摘　　要：学科竞赛是促进教学改革和培养创新型人才的有效途径,对学生个人发展以及高校教育发展都具有推动作用。在新形势下,构建管理高效合理、配套体系完善的竞赛模式能够极大地激发英语类专业人才的潜力,为培养更多全面发展、实践能力强的英语类人才提供保障。该文围绕学科竞赛未能充分促进人才培养的问题,剖析了“赛教协同”不紧密、指导团队不稳定、竞赛宣传不到位等典型问题,同时,针对性地提出了学科竞赛课程化、指导团队专业化、宣传选拔常态化等改进措施,以期为促进以学科竞赛为抓手的英语类人才培养提供参考。Discipline competitions are an effective way to promote teaching reform and cultivate innovative talents,serving as a driving force in the personal development of students and the development of higher education.Under the new situation,building a competition model with efficient and reasonable management and a complete supporting system can maximize the potential of English major talents and guarantee the cultivation of well-rounded English major talents with strong practical ability.This article sheds light on the existing problem of discipline competition’s failure to promote talent cultivation and delves into typical reasons,such as weak connection between competitions and regular teaching,unstable coaching teams and insufficient publicity about discipline competitions.Meanwhile,it also offers promising approaches:facilitating the seamless combination between discipline competitions and daily teaching,professionalism of coaching teams and regularization of publicity about competitions and talent selection in the hope that it can offer insights for talent cultivation in the future.
