以铸牢中华民族共同体意识为主线加强民族(地区)院校学科建设——在民族(地区)院校学科建设研讨会上的讲话

摘　　要：民族(地区)院校学科建设研讨会于2024年10月10日在北方民族大学召开。这是民族(地区)院校深入学习贯彻中央民族工作会议、全国教育大会、全国民族团结进步表彰大会精神的重要举措,也是推动民族院校和民族地区高校优化调整学科专业设置、提高人才培养质量和就业质量的具体举措。在会议上,边巴扎西同志强调了加强民族(地区)院校学科建设的重大意义,首先是落实以铸牢中华民族共同体意识为党的民族工作和民族地区各项工作的主线的必然要求;其次是中华民族共同体理论体系构建的必然要求;最后是民族(地区)院校转型升级的必然要求。在落实加强民族(地区)院校学科建设的重点任务方面,边巴扎西同志提出四点要求:一是加快建设中华民族共同体学,明确研究方向、加快理论探索、推进成果转化、建立学科生态;二是优化调整民族学,聚焦铸牢中华民族共同体意识主线要求,着力解决我国民族学研究中存在的被西方民族理论思想和话语体系所左右的问题,真正将教学科研和人才培养的重点转移到增进共同性上来;三是持续优化文理结构,做优人文学科专业,大力发展理工农医类学科专业,加大应用型学科专业建设;四是全面优化课程安排,上好“中华民族共同体概论”课程,系统梳理整改强化差异性的课程,深入推进铸牢中华民族共同体意识课程思政。The Seminar on Discipline Construction in Ethnic(Regional)Colleges and Universities was held at Northern University for Nationalities on October 10,2024.This was an important measure for ethnic(regional)institutions to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Central Conference on Ethnic Work,the National Education Conference and the National Commendation Conference for Ethnic Unity and Progress.It is a concrete measure to promote colleges and universities in ethnic minority areas to optimize and adjust their academic programs and disciplines,and improve the quality of personnel training and employment.During the meeting,Comrade Bian Bazasi emphasized the great significance of strengthening discipline construction inthnic(regional)institutions.First,it is an essential requirement for forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation as the central focus of the Party's ethnic work and all other initiatives in ethnic regions.Second,it is crucial for constructing the theoretical framework of the community for the Chinese nation;Finally,it is a necessary step in the transformation and upgrading of ethnic(regional)institutions.Comrade Bian Bazasi also proposed four key actions for advancing discipline construction at these institutions:First,promote the study of the community for the Chinese nation by clarifying research direction,advancing theoretical exploration,facilitating the transformation of research outcomes,and establishing an academic ecosystem.Second,optimize and adjust the field of ethnology by focusing on the central task of forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation.This includes addressing the issue of Chinese ethnology being overly influenced by Western ethnic theory and discourse,and shifting the focus of teaching,research,and talent development toward enhancing commonality.Third,continue optimizing the structure of humanities and sciences,strengthening the humanities programs,expanding programs in science,engineering,agriculture and medicine,and increasing the constru
