摘　　要：民族与国家的关系是民族问题的核心,在建立群体秩序的人类社会历史中,国家和民族的关系在互嵌交融的过程中将其演变逻辑介入到对方的领域。当今世界大多数国家都是多民族国家,民族问题处理不当会引起矛盾、纠纷。以民族问题的解决推动社会整合亦成为多民族国家治理的重要议题,对多民族国家形成和发展进行理论溯源的重要性愈益突出。多民族国家基本理念是马克思恩格斯在讨论现代民族和政治国家的互构逻辑中屡次考察的重要命题。虽然马克思恩格斯未能正式地提出“多民族国家”的概念,但其著作文本所阐释的关于什么是“(大的)民族国家”、多民族国家统一方式、多民族国家政治建构,以及多民族国家共同体建设等学说中,已然蕴含了系统的“多民族国家观”。深入挖掘马克思恩格斯多民族国家观,为我国推进统一的多民族国家建设提供了重要的理论依据和“母体”资源。The relationship between ethnicity and the state lies at the heart of ethnic issues.Throughout the historical process of establishing group order in human societies,the interwoven and mutually embedded evolution of the relationship between the state and ethnicity has profoundly influenced each other's domains.Today,most countries are multiethnic nations,yet inadequate handling of ethnic issues has led to frequent conflicts and disputes.As a result,promoting social integration through effective ethnic governance has become a critical priority for multiethnic nation.Understanding the theoretical origins of the formation and development of multiethnic nation has thus become increasingly significant.The concept of multiethnic nation was recurrent themes in Marx and Engels' discussions on the mutual construction logic of ethnicity and modern state.Although Marx and Engels did not formally propose the concept of "multiethnic nation",their works present systematic perspectives on the nature of(large) nation—state,the modes of unification in multiethnic nation,the political construction of multiethnic nation,and the building of multiethnic communities.These ideas collectively suggest a coherent framework for understanding multiethnic nation.Examining Marx and Engels' views on multiethnic nation not only provides a critical theoretical foundation but also serves as a source framework" for advancing the construction of a unified multiethnic nation in China.
