摘　　要：Alzheimer's disease and Down syndrome:Down syndrome(DS)is a genetic disorder caused by the presence of an extra complete or partial chromosome 21.Over the past few decades,significant advancements in medical treatment and nursing care have greatly improved the life expectancy of individuals with DS.However,as they age,their risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease(AD)increases considerably(Antonarakis et al.,2020).
