目的论视域下2024年政府工作报告中“四字格”的英译方法研究

摘　　要：“四字格”在政府工作报告文本中应用广泛,具有简短对称、节奏感强、易于记忆等特点。研究以2024年政府工作报告(简称报告)为例,在目的论的指导下,探究主谓式、动宾式、偏正式和联合式“四字格”对应的英译方法。研究发现,不同类型的“四字格”可以采用不同的翻译方法,译者还需要灵活运用多种翻译技巧以实现译文的准确性、流畅性和可读性。研究为政府工作报告的“四字格”英译工作提供了有益的借鉴,促进了中华文化的国际传播。The“four-character phrases”are widely used in the text of the government work report,characterized by the brevity,symmetry,strong rhythmic sense,and ease of memorization.Taking the government work report of 2024(hereinafter report)as an example,this research explores the corresponding English translation methods for“four-character phrases”in the forms of subject-predicate,verb-object,modifier-head,and coordinate structures under the guidance of Skopos Theory.Research finds that different types of“four-character phrases”can adopt various translation methods,and translators need to flexibly apply multiple translation techniques to achieve accuracy,fluency,and readability in the translated text.This study aims to provide a useful reference for the English translation of“four-character phrases”in government work reports,and promote the international dissemination of Chinese culture.
