摘　　要：《神州集》作为中国古典诗歌翻译的范本,体现了庞德创造性翻译思想。庞德在翻译过程中,以意象作为翻译的核心,通过意象重叠和意象并置的手法,将中国古典诗歌中的独特意象传递给西方读者。庞德的翻译不仅保留了原诗的意境和美学价值,还通过创新翻译手法实现了中西文化的交流与互鉴。Cathay,as a representative work in the realm of translated classical Chinese poetry,exemplifies Pound's innovative translation philosophy.Central to Pound's approach is the use of imagery.By employing techniques such as imagery overlapping and imagery juxtaposition,he effectively conveys the distinctive imagery found in classical Chinese poetry to Western audiences.Pound's translations not only capture the mood and aesthetic qualities of the original poems but also foster communication and mutual appreciation between Chinese and Western cultures through his creative translation methods.
