摘 要:通过对比许渊冲译文和威特·宾纳译文,基于刘宓庆的翻译美学理论,研究从翻译的审美客体和审美主体的角度出发,分析了两种译文的相似与不同。最后得出结论,翻译美学在文学翻译领域发挥重要作用。由于知识水平、文化背景不同,翻译人员对译文的准确度及文学性会产生不同影响。许渊冲倾向于意美、音美、形美的再现,而威特·宾纳的译文翻译目的明确,即以英语读者的理解为出发点,简明扼要,无重要遗漏,既具有普及性,又有一定的学术水平。Based on Translation Aesthetics of Liu Miqing,comparing Song of a Pipa Player by Xu Yuanchong and The Song of a Guitar by Witter Bynner for case study,this study specifically examines the parallels and differences based on formal system and non-formal system,the limitation of the aesthetic object,and the translator subjectivity.Finally,the study indicates that translation aesthetics is of great significance for literary translation.Different translators have different effects on the accuracy and literary of the translation due to their different knowledge level and cultural background.Xu Yuanchong prefers the reproduction of beauty in sense,sound and form,while Witter Bynner's translation,concise and without major mistakes,has a clear purpose,that is,to ensure the English readers understand.And he takes both popularity and scholarship into account.
