远程会议口译同传实战的挑战及应对策略——以北京冬奥会赛时观察员项目为例

摘　　要：后疫情时代,远程会议口译同传成为口译行业的新常态。译员在远程会议口译同传实战中面临诸多挑战,需采取有效策略加以应对。本文以北京冬奥会赛时观察员项目为例,详述译员在远程会议口译同传实战中遇到的三类挑战及采取的应对策略,旨在帮助学生译员更好地了解和适应这种口译工作模式。另一方面,口译行业的这一新变化对口译教育提出了更高要求。高校口译教师应思考如何把远程会议口译知识与技能训练融入课堂教学中,从而培养出更多能胜任远程会议口译工作的专业译员。In the post-pandemic era,remote simultaneous interpreting(RSI)has become a new normal in the interpreting industry.Interpreters face various challenges in real-life RSI situations and effective coping tactics are needed to tackle them.This paper introduces three types of challenges that simultaneous interpreters faced and coped with when working for the Observers Programme of the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games,where meetings were held via video conferencing.The aim is to help student interpreters learn more about and adapt to the mode of RSI.On the other hand,such a change in the interpreting industry places higher requirements for interpreting education.Interpreting trainers in universities need to think about how to integrate the knowledge and skills related to RSI into interpreting courses and thus cultivate more professional interpreters who are competent in remote conference interpreting.
