语义韵视角下网络热词“破防”的英译研究

摘　　要：近年来,网络热词的英译研究一直是国内学者关注的热点。本研究从语义韵的视角出发,以“破防”为关键词在人民网、北京大学中国语言学研究中心(CCL)语料库、中国日报(英文版)、百度在线翻译,以及抖音短视频平台进行检索,探究该词在汉语中的使用情境和语义韵情况。本研究将防线分为具体防线和心理防线两大类。其中,具体防线分为军事领域类、体育竞赛类和疫情防控类;心理防线则根据“破防”原因分为感动式、震惊式、崩溃式和伤害式。随后,通过查询美国当代英语语料库(COCA)、词典释义和英文例句等方法探究各情境下,能够基本达到语义韵对等的英译,以期为网络热词的英译提供参考。In recent years,research on the English translation of Internet buzzwords has been a popular topic for domestic scholars.Starting from the perspective of semantic prosody,this study uses“pofang”as the key word to search the network platforms,including people.cn,Center for Chinese Linguistics PKU,China Daily,Baidu Translation,and Douyin(Chinese version),and explores its usages and semantic prosody in Chinese.It could be divided into two categories,including the physical defense line and the psychological defense line.The former includes lines used in the military field,sports competitions,and epidemic prevention and control,while the latter refers to the break of the psychological defensive line by being moved,shocked,overwhelmed,or hurt.Finally,by searching the COCA corpus,dictionary definitions,and examples of sentences in English,we explored suitable English translations that can achieve semantic prosody equivalence in contexts to provide references for the English translation of Internet buzzwords.
