摘 要:目的:了解医学院校低年级医学生英语学习动机和大学英语课堂学习焦虑之间的关系,以期为医学院校大学英语教育及改革提供参考和建议。方法:通过问卷星系统,采用HORWITZ(1986)外语课堂焦虑量表(Foreign language classroom learning anxiety scale,FLCAS)和高一虹的英语学习动机量表对508名低年级医学生进行问卷调查,采用皮尔逊相关系数考查英语课堂学习焦虑与学习动机的关系。结果:低年级医学生英语学习动机和大学英语课堂学习焦虑处于中等水平。不同年级医学生在FLCAS评分及3个维度(交际畏惧维度、负评价恐惧维度及考试焦虑维度)得分上差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。低年级医学本科生大学英语四六级通过情况在FLCAS评分及3个维度(交际畏惧维度、负评价恐惧维度及考试焦虑维度)得分上差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。低年级医学生英语学习动机与大学外语课堂学习焦虑不相关,与交际畏惧维度、负评价恐惧维度、考试焦虑维度呈负相关。结论:低年级医学生英语学习动机中等水平,对大学英语课堂学习焦虑无影响。医学院校应针对性地开展大学英语教育。Objective:To understand the relationship between English learning motivation of junior medical students and College English classroom learning anxiety,and to provide suggestions and references for College English education in medical universities.Methods:A questionnaire survey was conducted on 508 junior medical students using the Horwitz(1986)foreign language classroom learning anxiety scale(FLCAS)and gao yihong's English learning motivation scale.The Pearson correlation coefficient was used to examine the relationship between foreign language classroom anxiety and English learning motivation.Results:The English learning motivation and College English classroom learning anxiety of the junior medical students were at the intermediate level.There are statistically significant differences in the FLCAS scores and three dimensions(social fear dimension,fear of negative evaluation dimension and test anxiety dimension)of medical students of different grades(P<0.05).The passing status of lower-grade medical undergraduates'College English test band 4(CET-4)and College English test band 6(CET-6),there was a statistically significant difference in FLCAS scores and three dimensions(social fear,fear of negative evaluation and test anxiety)(P<0.05).The English learning motivation of junior medical students had no correlation with College English classroom learning anxiety,but had negative correlation with communication fear dimension,negative evaluation fear dimension and test anxiety dimension.Conclusion:The English learning motivation of junior medical students is moderate,and it has no effect on their College English classroom learning anxiety.Medical universities should carry out targeted College English education.
