功能主义视角下英语长难句的翻译策略探析

摘　　要：在全球化日益加速的今天,英语作为国际交流的主要语言之一,其翻译准确性和流畅性对跨文化沟通至关重要。英语长难句,由于其结构的复杂性和信息的密集性,一直是翻译领域的难点之一。功能主义翻译理论强调翻译的目的和效果,认为翻译不仅是语言间的转换,还是文化的传递和交流。在此框架下,对英语长难句的翻译策略进行探析,有助于深化我们对翻译过程中语言、文化和功能之间关系的理解,推动翻译理论的丰富和发展。为此,这篇文章结合功能主义目的论及英语长难句的句子特征,分别从顺序法、逆序法、分译法、综合法4个方面探讨英语长难句的翻译策略,旨在为解决英语长难句翻译难题建言献策。As one of the main languages of international communication,the accuracy and fluency of English translation are very important for cross-cultural communication.Long and difficult sentences in English are always one of the difficulties in translation because of their complicated structure and information-intensive nature.Functionalist translation theory emphasizes the aim and effect of translation,and holds that translation is not only the transformation between languages,but also the transmission and communication of culture.Under this framework,the analysis of translation strategies of english long and difficult sentences will help us to deepen our understanding of the relationship between languages,culture and function in the process of translation and promote the enrichment and development of translation theories.Therefore,this paper discusses the translation strategies of english long and difficult sentences from four aspects:order method,reverse order method,division method and synthesis method,combining with the functionalist skopos theory and the sentence features.The purpose of this paper is to provide some suggestions for solving the translation problems of english long and difficult sentences.
