摘　　要：本研究立足《中国翻译家辞典》和《中国科技翻译家辞典》,挖掘1949年至1990年137位辽宁科技翻译家的群体特征与贡献,并以此为基础审视辽宁科技翻译家生发的社会文化条件。具体而言,该阶段辽宁科技翻译家得益于自然地理优势,受益于外语名校辐射以及工科教育,裨益于国家翻译实践,浸润于家国精神传统。深挖翻译家群体服务国家需求和时代需求的史实,传续翻译家精神,对研究翻译推动经济社会发展、科学进步和学科构建有重要现实意义。Based on Chinese Translators'Dictionary and Chinese Scientific and Technological Translators'Dictionary,this study investigates the characteristics and contributions of 137 Liaoning technical translators from 1949 to 1990.It also examines the social and cultural conditions that nurtured these translators.Specifically,Liaoning technical translators benefited from the region's advantageous natural geography,the influence of prestigious foreign language schools,engineering education,participation in national translation practices,and immersion in the traditional spirit of patriotism during this period.By deeply exploring the historical facts of how the group of translators served the national and era-specific needs,and inheriting the spirit of these translators,this study holds significant practical value for research on how translation promotes economic and social development,scientific progress,and disciplinary construction.
