摘　　要：高等教育目的是高等教育理论、政策和实践中的核心议题。个人本位的道德取向的高等教育目的、个人本位的非道德取向的高等教育目的、社会本位的道德取向的高等教育目的和社会本位的非道德取向的高等教育目的是目前四种主要的高等教育目的。我们应该在高等教育的历史变迁中识读高等教育目的,在高等教育的制度环境中识读高等教育目的,在高等教育的关系系统中识读高等教育目的。我们的高等教育目的突出强调立德树人,特别重视治国安民,是知识发展、个人发展和社会发展的辩证统一。坚持社会主义办学方向是实现我们的高等教育目的的重要前提,尊重和践行教育规律是实现我们的高等教育目的的重要理论基础,坚持和完善中国特色社会主义高等教育制度是实现我们的高等教育目的的重要制度保障,弘扬和践行教育家精神是实现我们的高等教育目的的主要途径。The purpose of higher education is a core issue in higher education theory,policy,and practice.The four main purposes of higher education currently include the personal oriented moral orientation,the personal oriented non moral orientation,the social oriented moral orientation,and the social oriented non moral orientation.We should understand the purpose of higher education in the historical changes of higher education,in the institutional environment of higher education,and in the relationship system of higher education.Our higher education aims to emphasize the cultivation of morality and people,with a particular emphasis on governing the country and ensuring the well-being of the people.It is a dialectical unity of knowledge development,personal development,and social development.Adhering to the socialist direction of education is an important prerequisite for achieving our higher education goals.Respecting and practicing educational laws is an important theoretical basis for achieving our higher education goals.Adhering to and improving the socialist higher education system with Chinese characteristics is an important institutional guarantee for achieving our higher education goals.Promoting and practicing the spirit of educators is the main way to achieve our higher education goals.
