翻译政治学视角下的满涛翻译人生研究

摘　　要：中国现代文学流派"七月派"强调文学创作的"主观战斗精神"和"精神奴役创伤",因在文学领域异质凸显,与代表主流文化的文艺思想不尽契合。七月派翻译家满涛是俄罗斯文学名著《樱桃园》和《死魂灵》及经典文论《别林斯基选集》的著名译者,因深受胡风文艺理论及其个性特征的影响,屡遭排挤和政治迫害。本文在追根溯源七月派翻译主张的基础上,从翻译政治学视角及历史语境出发,探讨满涛的翻译人生及生存心态,从而对胡风文艺理论对七月派翻译主张以及七月派翻译家的文化生态形成之影响作出相对可靠的历史复原,以期对我国现当代翻译史研究提供新视野。A modern Chinese literary school known as July School emphasizes "the subjective fighting spirit" and "the spiritual slavery trauma" in literary creation. By forging a heterogeneous position in the literary field, it represents an iconoclastic deviation from the orthodox line of Mao Zedong’s thinking on art and literature, which eventually led to the first biggest "literary inquisition" in the People’s Republic of China in 1955. Man Tao, a literary translator of July School, is especially known for his Chinese renditions of the Russian literary classics The Cherry Orchard and Dead Souls as well as the Russian classic literary critique The Selected Philosophical Works of V. G. Belinsky. He was so much influenced by Hu Feng’s literary theory and personal characteristics that it made him persona non grata among the establishment, thus suffering a great deal from political persecution. Based on the July School translation claims, the present article is intended to explore Man Tao’s life of literary translation including his habitus in the particular period from the perspective of politics of translation and historical context, so as to conduct a relatively reliable historical restoration of Hu Feng’s literary theory’s impact on the formation of the July School translation claims as well as on the cultural ecology of July School translators, which will hopefully provide a new vision for the research on the history of translation in modern and contemporary China.
