摘 要:《初等国文教授》是目前可见的中国近代首部自编教授法。晚清新式教育的迅速发展,为《初等国文教授》的问世提供了重要的外在动力与环境。原著者王立才丰富、成功的从教经历,喜新求变的个性以及“觉世救民”的情怀,是影响《初等国文教授》创作的内在关键因素。《初等国文教授》在编撰体例、文本设计、行文表述等方面特色鲜明。它在中国近代首创教科书、教授法合二为一的教材新体例;“疏说”设计看似随意,却内在逻辑清晰、缜密;行文重个人思想、情感表达,个性鲜明。《初等国文教授》在中国近代教材发展史上具有重要价值。它既是国人自编教科书改进的有益尝试,又是教授法本土化发展的重要成果,也是“学生中心”教育思想在本土教授法中的早期实践。Elementary Chinese Teaching is the first self-compiled teaching method textbook in modern China.The rapid development of new-style education in the late Qing Dynasty provides important external motive force and environment for the publication of the book and the author Wang Licai’s rich teaching experience,personality of seeking innovation and change and sentiment of“enlightening the people”are the internal elements.The book has distinctive features in terms of compilation style,text design,and writing expression.It pioneers a new textbook style in modern China that combines textbook and teaching method,the design of“explanation and interpretation”may seem casual but its internal logic is clear and meticulous,and its writing emphasizes personal thoughts and emotional expression,with distinct personality imprint.The book has important value in the development history of modern Chinese textbook.It is a beneficial attempt to improve self-compiled textbook,an important achievement in the localization of teaching method and an early practice of student-centered educational philosophy in local teaching method.
