高校生命教育中儒家生命观的教育功能及当代启示

摘  要:生命教育是以“人民至上,生命至上”为价值导向,彰显自然生命、社会生命、精神生命价值的教育活动,而儒家生命观因其丰富的生命教育思想为生命教育注入了新的内涵。其核心要义涵盖了自然生命观以“仁爱珍生”养生命之长,社会生命观以“兼善天下”拓生命之宽,精神生命观以“超凡入圣”铸生命之高三个方面。儒家生命观作为中华传统生命观的重要组成部分,其教育功能包括唤醒自然生命意识、追求生命自强不息,塑造社会生命格局、强化生命责任担当,崇尚精神生命境界、超越生命时空局限。因此,儒家生命观对高校生命教育的推进具有重要启示,创新和丰富生命教育目标、内容与实践,充分发挥生命教育的实效性。Life education is an educational activity that takes“people first,life first”as its value orientation,highlighting the value of natural life,social life,and spiritual life.The Confucian concept of life,with its rich ideas on life education,injects new connotations into life education.Its core essence covers three aspects:the natural life concept nourishes the length of life with“benevolence and cherishing life”;the social life concept expands the width of life with“open-minded and joyful living”;the spiritual life concept elevates the height of life with“honoring life and respecting death”.As an important part of Chinese traditional views of life,Confucianism s educational functions include awakening natural life consciousness and pursuing unremitting self-improvement,shaping social life patterns and strengthening responsibility for life,and advocating spiritual life realms and transcending the limitations of life and time.Therefore,the Confucian concept of life provides important enlightenment for the advancement of life education in universities,innovating and enriching the goals,content,and practice of life education,and fully exerting the effectiveness of life education.
