术语学视角下“枪”的英译策略探析

摘　　要：术语学是面向不同领域术语研究的科学,与翻译学之间存在紧密联系,军事术语是术语翻译研究领域的重要分支。以术语库技术赋能现代军事术语英译策略创新为主题,通过借鉴术语学理论知识,检索国内相关军事术语库平台,运用理论思辨和案例分析的研究方法,归纳“枪”的术语翻译原则,即揭示术语内涵,注重术语唯一,保持术语简洁,并创新性提出“解释型翻译”“复合翻译”等术语翻译策略,旨在对军事术语翻译的规范化提供借鉴,推进军事术语管理和军事文化传播。Terminology is a science that focuses on the research of terms in different fields and has a close connection with translation studies.Military terminology is an important branch in the research field of term translation.With the theme of enabling the innovation of English translation strategies for modern military terms by terminology database technology,by drawing on the theoretical knowledge of terminology,retrieving domestic relevant military terminology database platforms,and using research methods such as theoretical speculation and case analysis,it summarizes the principles of term translation for“gun”,i.e.,revealing the connotation of terms,emphasizing the uniqueness of terms,and maintaining the conciseness of terms.It also innovatively proposes term translation strategies such as“interpretive translation”and“compound translation”,aiming to provide reference for the standardization of military term translation and promote the management of military terms and the dissemination of military culture.
