摘　　要：职业教育作为与经济社会发展结合最为紧密的类型教育,为推进中国式现代化提供了重要驱动力。在探讨职业教育对中国式现代化影响机理的基础上,基于我国2012-2022年31个省市的面板数据,采用中介效应模型、空间杜宾模型等方法检验职业教育对中国式现代化的影响。研究发现:我国职业教育发展水平与中国式现代化发展水平表现出潜在的时空关联性,二者均随时间变化不断提升,同时在空间上呈现东高西低的分布态势;职业教育对中国式现代化具有显著的正向直接影响,但其影响存在“中部塌陷”的区域异质性特征;职业教育能够通过培养高素质技术技能人才、提升技术创新水平、促进城乡融合发展等传导机制对中国式现代化产生正向间接影响;职业教育发展水平与中国式现代化发展水平均存在正向空间自相关关系,且职业教育通过辐射效应对中国式现代化产生正向空间溢出效应。据此,应加快建设高质量现代职业教育体系、重视打通传导路径上的“堵点”、以系统的观念推进区域协调发展,进而推动中国式现代化进程中职业教育从大有可为到大有作为。Vocational education,as the type of education most closely integrated with economic and social development,provides an important driving force for promoting Chinese-style modernization.Based on the panel data from 31 provinces and cities in China between 2012 and 2022,this paper investigates the influence of vocational education on Chinese-style modernization through an intermediary effect model and a spatial Durbin model.The results show:the development levels of vocational education in China and Chinesestyle modernization show a potential spatiotemporal correlation,both showing upward trends over time,and a spatial distribution pattern characterized by higher levels in the east and lower ones in the west;vocational education has a significant,direct,positive effect on Chinese-style modernization,but its impact varies regionally,with a notable heterogeneity of“middle collapse”;vocational education has a positive and indirect effect on Chinese-style modernization through the transmission mechanism of cultivating high-quality technical talents,improving technological innovation,and promoting urban-rural integration;there is also a positive spatial auto-correlation between vocational education development and Chinese-style modernization development,and vocational education has a positive spatial spillover effect on Chinese-style modernization through the radiation effect.Therefore,it is crucial to accelerate the construction of high-quality modern vocational education system,address the“blocking point”on the transmission path,and promote coordinated regional development with a systematic approach,so as to advance vocational education from having great potential to achieving great accomplishments in the process of Chinese-style modernization.
