跨文化背景下汉英禁忌语的对比分析

摘　　要：语言是文化的载体,受中西方文化的影响,汉英禁忌语之间存在着共性和差异。了解和把握汉英禁忌语的差异和共性,能够减少交际过程中出现的失误,推进跨文化交流的顺利进行。本文在收集资料的基础上,得出汉英禁忌语在死亡、歧视、身体、亵渎、辱骂和性行为方面具有相似性,差异性主要体现在颜色、数字、话题隐私、种族歧视和姓名称谓等方面。进一步探讨了禁忌语教学在促进跨文化交际中的作用,在对外汉语教学中要采用合理的方法本文通过汉英禁忌语的对比分析,希望可以帮助读者对汉英禁忌语有着更直观、更全面的认识.Language serves as the carrier of culture,and due to the influence of Chinese and Western cultures,there exist both similarities and differences between Chinese and English taboo language.Understanding and grasping the similarities and differences between Chinese and English taboo language can minimize errors in communication and facilitate smooth cross-cultural communication.Based on data collected,this paper identifies similarities between Chinese and English taboo language in areas such as death,discrimination,the body,profanity,insult,and sexual behavior,while differences are mainly manifested in areas such as color,numbers,private topics,racial discrimination,names,and titles.The role of taboo language teaching in promoting cross-cultural communication is further explored,and the adoption of reasonable methods in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language(TCSL)is advocated.Through a comparative analysis of Chinese and English taboo language,this paper aims to provide readers with a more intuitive and comprehensive understanding of the subject.
