香港《译丛》的明清小说英译研究

摘　　要：香港《译丛》(1973—2024)是当代中国面向海外翻译传播中国文学的有生力量,代表中国古代小说最高成就的明清小说是其重点译介的选材之一。截至2024年,27位明清小说家的47种作品得到《译丛》的翻译出版。《译丛》视国际读者的接受为第一要义,明清小说英译精“译”求精,努力提升译文质量,并根据当代英语规范进行修订、复译。在丰富副文本的辅助下,《译丛》明清小说译文的可读性进一步增强。《译丛》的翻译出版实践为中国古典小说“走向世界”提供了可资借鉴的宝贵经验。Hongkong Renditions(1973-2024),an effective semiyearly of Chinese-English translations of literature for the overseas,has been intensively selecting and rendering the novels from Ming and Qing dynasties,which represents the peak of Classical Chinese fictioneering.Until 2024,the 46 works of 26 novelists in Ming and Qing dynasties have been translated and published by Renditions.Renditions views international readers'acceptance as the most important factor,its English translations of Ming-Qing novels seek for greater perfection,need revision and retranslation.With the assistance of rich para-texts,the readability of translated Ming-Qing nov els in Renditions has been further strengthened.It can provide a valuable reference for the“Going-to-the world”of Classical Chinese novels.
