摘 要:福柯研究长期以来集中于对原著的解释说明,其中以对福柯著述中的概念和论点的分析与阐释最具代表性。在西方学界,将福柯与其他欧美思想家进行对比也成为一个较为常见的路径。由于福柯本人的视野无例外地限于欧陆内部,现有的福柯研究著作都很自然地主要表现为以西释西。从福柯著作内有的逻辑出发,读者会发现他想要解决的问题为西方近代以来的主体哲学困局,且其主要采取的路径为重建个人变为主体的历史过程。正因为如此,福柯的关怀始终在西方内部,学界对其的阐释也以借助西方思想为主流。这一倾向在近年来的一些汉学家的著述中开始有所改变:由于福柯晚期的思想聚焦于对古代以来自我修养的关注,而相关论点在古代中国思想中多有可供参照的论述,将二者打通成为部分学者的努力方向。然而,就目前所见,相关研究的主流仍限于以西释中,且存在理解尚未透彻或空泛等问题。如何将中国思想接入福柯研究,迈向真正的以中释西成为值得认真思考的问题。Scholars of Foucault have long been focusing on explications of the Foucauldian oeuvre,among which analyses and interpretations of the notions and arguments are the most characteristic approaches.In the Western academia,comparative studies of Foucault and other Euro-American thinkers are also commonly seen.As Foucault is exclusively concerned with the European continent with a view to address the crisis of philosophy of the subject,students of literary theory and intellectual history always depend for guidance on Western theories and thoughts.In recent years,some scholars are trying to draw on ancient Chinese conceptions of self-cultivation in their readings of Foucault's later works.We must note,however,that the majority of these scholars have shied away from the conviction that a careful examination of Chinese works on cultivation can lead us to address the issues raised by Foucault.In addition,the current scholarship is still characterized by misunderstandings and overly generalized arguments.We must thus consider now how to develop a more sophisticated approach to Foucauldian texts informed by Chinese intellectual history.
