摘 要:以开放大学成人英语学习者为研究对象,以一门公共英语和两门专业英语为研究课程,依托现代技术支持下的平台和资源,探索信息技术与成人高校英语教学有效融合的途径。研究结果表明:无论是英语专业学习者还是非英语专业学习者,现代信息技术的运用均有助于提升学习成绩,但未必能增强学习内驱力。学习者的学习动机、学习目的和技术本身的缺陷都会影响到技术的有效应用。教师在此过程中的作用不可或缺,特别是在敦促学生学习、提供情感支持和人文关怀方面,教师的角色无可取代。在学习评价方面亦然,人工智能在评判方面仍有缺陷,教师的参与有助于提升评判的公正性和准确性。With adult English learners at an open university as trial subjects and one general English course alongside two specialized English courses as experimental modules,this study leverages modern technology-supported platforms and resources to explore effective approaches to integrating information technology into English teaching in adult higher education.The findings reveal that while the application of modern information technology enhances academic performance for both English majors and non-English majors,it does not necessarily enhance intrinsic motivation for learning.Learners'motivations,objectives,and technical limitations collectively influence the effectiveness of technology integration.Teachers play an indispensable role in this process,particularly in urging students to engage in learning and providing emotional support.Similarly,in learning assessment,artificial intelligence exhibits limitation in accurately evaluating student outcomes and is prone to inducing anxiety among students.Teachers'involvement ensures fairness and accuracy in assessment.The study concludes that the approaches to the deep integration of information technology and foreign language teaching in adult higher education institutions are human-machine co-teaching and human-machine co-evaluation.
