构建服务国际化人才培养与“四新”建设的大学英语课程与教材体系

摘　　要：大学英语课程必须改革才能适应新需求。大学英语课程应该为国际化人才培养与“四新”建设服务。不同学校、专业对国际化人才的定位和要求不同,对英语课程的要求也不同。大学英语课程应与学校的办学特色结合,与学生所学专业结合,与专业课程融合,充分利用国际化资源和新形态教学资源,提升学生用英语进行专业学习的能力和国际交流能力。大学英语教材是为大学英语课程服务的。College English courses must be reformed to adapt to new demands.These courses should serve the"four new"disciplines and the cultivation ofinternational talents.Different schools and majors have varying orientations and requirements for international talents,which in turn leads to different demands for English courses.College English courses should be integrated with the educational characteristics of the institution,the majors students are pursuing,and the professional courses.They should make full use ofinternational resources and new forms of teaching materials to enhance students'abilities to study their majors in English and to communicate internationally.College English textbooks serve the college English curriculum.Many current college English textbooks pursue sales volume while neglecting the actual needs of students.New college English textbooks must be based on real societal demands and the professional development needs of students,truly serving the cultivation ofinternational talents and the"four new"disciplines.The new teaching materials should make full use of artificial intelligence technology to meet the needs of learners from different majors,with different English foundations,and different developmental goals.
