玩物有志:潮流玩具的文化表征与青年身份认同

摘  要:潮流玩具融汇了设计、绘画、雕塑等多元素的审美理念,将艺术家对原创艺术的理解架构于作品当中,成为传达通俗文化与艺术审美之间的纽带。本文以“准成人期”的青年为研究对象,通过青年群体的玩具消费来理解当下青年的消费理念和生活态度,进而探讨青年的身份认同。结果表明,潮流玩具的文化表征和情感叙事成为当代青年身份认同的导向性因素。青年的玩具消费是以内向型的悦已消费为主要特征,通过群体归属和自我表达来构建身份认同,而青年的身份认同是过去身份与未来身份在情感擢升、认同投射、价值补偿和社会交往等方面持续互动的结果,最终在玩具消费中实现了“价值-情感”的双重目标。Trendy designer toys integrate aesthetic principles from design,painting,sculpture,and other elements,embodying artists'interpretations of original art and serving as a bridge between popular culture and artistic aesthetics.This study focuses on Chinese youths experiencing"emerging adulthood',examining their toy consumption patterns to understand contemporary young consumers'preferences and lifestyles,thereby exploring their identity formation.The findings indicate that the culture representation and emotional narratives of trendy designer toys serve as guiding factors in contemporary youths'identity construction.Youths'toy consumption is characterized primarily by inward-oriented self-gratification,constructing identity through group belonging and self-expression.Youth identity formation results from continuous interaction between past and future identities through progressive emotional gratification,identity projection,value compensation,and social interaction,ultimately allowing youths to achieve"value-emotion"objectives through toy consumption.
