摘　　要：1931—1945年间,一批英美左翼作家亲赴中华大地,对抗战时期的中国进行了长达数年的实地探寻。他们打破了以往西方人对异域中国想象的主客二分思维,秉持马克思主义交往理论中“人与人”“主—客”“主—主”相统一的思想,拓展了异域书写的文化功能:在文化认知功能层面,他们通过“人与人”之间直接对话的建构,破除了拟态环境下抗战中国的距离对位和刻板印象;在文化理解功能层面,他们从“投射式移情”“传染式移情”两个维度,进一步克服了“人与人”之间的缝隙,促进了“人与人”之间理解的发生;在文化间性功能层面,他们在尊重“人与人”之间平等原则与差异原则的基础上,增进了不同文化间的商谈性会通,实现了文化间的多元并存、优势互补和沟通共识。Between 1931 and 1945,a group of left-wing writers from Britain and the United States traveled to China in person and spent several years on the ground in search of China during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.They broke the dichotomy of subject-object thinking in Westerners’imagination of exotic China in the past,adhered to the Marxist theory of interaction,in which the“person and person”“subject-object”and“subject-subject”are united,expanding the cultural function of exotic writing:At the level of cultural cognition,the British and American left-wing writers who came to China constructed a direct dialogue between“person and person”,breaking the distance and stereotypes of China in the anthropomorphic environment;At the level of the function of cultural understanding,the British and American left-wing writers in China further overcome the gap between“person and person”from the dimensions of“projective empathy”and“contagious empathy”,and promote their understanding through the construction of direct dialogues;At the level of interculturality,on the basis of respecting the principle of equality and difference between people,the British and American left-wing writers who came to China enhanced the negotiation between different cultures,realizing the coexistence of pluralism,complementarity of strengths,and communication and consensus between cultures.
