摘　　要：德国功能派翻译理论将翻译定义为一种有目的的行为,在实用文体的翻译中得到了广泛应用。该文首先介绍了德国功能派翻译理论的形成阶段及核心内容,然后对该理论目前在科技英语、广告、合同和小说等实用文体翻译中的应用进行详细阐述,最后探讨了在翻译应用中的发展方向,以期对翻译实践工作带来一定的启示和指导。German functionalist translation theory defines translation as purposeful action which has been widely adopted in the translation of practical texts. In this paper, the formation stages and core contents of the theory were introduced and a sound exposition of its applications in practical texts, including technical English, advertisement, contract and novel texts was also described. Then, the trend of the theory was discussed in order to guide translation practice.
