摘　　要：蔡元培先生出任北大校长时提出了“思想自由 ,兼容并包”的办学方针 ,并采取了许多革新措施来贯彻此办学方针 ,促进了北大的思想解放和学术繁荣 。Mr.Cai Yuanpei,once a president of Peking University,advocated the guiding principle for running a school with 'Freedom Ideological System and Incorporate Things of Diverse Nature' and adopted lots of innovation measures to carry it out.Those had a great help in forming the atmosphere of thoughts emancipating and academy flourishing in Peking University.Mr.Cai explored a new epoch in educational field.
