摘　　要：创建“绿色学校”是中国环境教育运动中的一个重要事件。本文结合国际环境教育发展过程对“绿色学校”的内涵进行了讨论,从可持续发展教育的角度阐发了绿色学校应有的特点,并总结和展望了中国“绿色学校”发展的现状和未来。It is a very important event for environmental education in China that 'Green School' was advanced. The article discusses the connotation of the 'Green School' in the light of a brief discussion on history of international environmental education, and argues that: 1. 'Green School' is a all-round way for environmental education in nature ; 2. the connotation of 'Green School' varies with the development of environmental education; 3. there are at least 6 features for a modern'Green School'; 4. it is important and possible to develop 'Green School's in China.
