摘　　要：There are three links for determining the intention of the subject for Fa Tan:the figurative meaning of the expression of "the river water is clear..." in the first lines; the usage of the character "胡" in the poem; whether or not the use of the phrase of "that gentleman" at the end is an enantiosis.
