英语学习中被忽视的软实力——思辨能力“缺席”原因探析

摘　　要：国内外语界对于大学生思辨能力"缺席"早有研究,从1998年黄源深提出这一观点至今已有十几年的时间,但这一问题仍未解决,思维"缺席"在当今的大学生身上仍旧十分常见。近年来这方面的研究多注重如何解决这一问题,如在写作、辩论和演讲中提高学生的思辨能力,但尚未有研究分析造成思辨能力缺席的原因。笔者认为,如果不找到造成这一现象的根本原因,其他方法就犹如隔靴搔痒,无法真正解决问题。因此,本文则着重分析造成思辨能力"缺席"的原因,希望唤起教育界对于思辨能力的重视,在学习英语的过程中学习西方先进的思辨能力,将二者结合起来改变目前英语教学的困境,重新激发学生学习外语的兴趣。The research on absence of critical thinking in China can date back to the year 1998; however, the problem remains unsolved today. In recent years, the researches in this field mainly focus on how to solve this problem, such as implementing reform in writing, debating and speaking classes. But the reason of absence of critical thinking has not been discussed yet.The author holds that if the reason is unclear, the problem will never be effectively resolved. Thus, this paper mainly studies the reason of absence of critical thinking, in the hope of combining English learning with critical thinking skills so as to stimulating the interesting of learning English.
