摘 要:直接学习与间接学习是两种重要的第二语言词汇学习方式.该研究对比了在单纯的间接学习和直接学习与间接学习相结合两种条件下,儿童通过观看多媒体动画片学习英语词汇的效果结果发现,儿童在间接条件下对目标词的语音、语义学习效果均比较差,整合条件下的儿童则能较好地模仿目标词的发音,并能正确说出更多单词的词义.最后该文对整合间接与直接学习方式的作用机制及其教育意义进行了初步探讨.The present study investigated children's learning of English vocabulary via multimedia animation. Their learning results were compared between two conditions, the indirect condition and the condition of integration of direct and indirect approaches. It was found that under indirect condition, both phonic and semantic learning achievements were very poor. Children in the integration condition got much higher scores on the above two tests than their counterparts under the indirect condition. The effects of integration of indirect and direct approaches on children's L2 vocabulary learning in multimedia context and its educational implications were discussed.
