摘　　要：本文分析了美国著名诗人罗伯特·弗洛斯特的作品《修墙》的写作技巧和主题。作者在诗中使用了象征主义手法,和比喻等修辞方法。诗中邻居甲对邻居乙的劝说以失败告终,象征人与人的沟通失败;两位邻居处世态度不同,也可以理解为现代意识和传统意识的冲突。诗人通过这首情节简单的小诗表达了他的处世态度和人生哲学。The essay analyzed the writing skills and theme of famous American poet Robert Frost’s poem “Mending Wall”. The writer uses imagism and other figure of speech like simile etc. In the poem neighbor A’s failure to persuade neighbor B shows the failure of communication between human; the two neighbors’ different attitude toward life, can also be understood as the conflict between traditional idea and modern concept. This means it is difficult to get rid of precaution. the poet expressed his attitude towards life and philosophy through this poem.
