摘　　要：北宋文人面临济民与忠君、达己与达人、欲与理等矛盾。它们形成主体深刻的人格矛盾,即本我与超我的矛盾。文人平衡这种矛盾的方法是公私分离。公私分离要求先公后私和公显私隐。The Northern Song's intellects were confronted with the contradictions between the relief of the people and the royalty to the sovereign,and between selfachievement and others' one, and between the desire and the reason.They formed the subject's deep personality contradictions,that is to say,the contradictions bteween id and superego.The way to balance the contradictions for the intellects was to separate the private from the public.The separation demanded that the private be subordinated to the public and that the public be visible and the private be hidden.
