摘　　要：换说 (拉丁语 :periphrasis)是一种十分活跃和富有表现力的辞格 ,是一种避俗求新的变异表达方式。人们在创制换说这种表达方式时 ,不外乎利用相关联想与相似联想这两种心理机制 ,因而借代和隐喻的扩展形式就成了换说结构的两种最基本的格式。它是人们在日常交际中建构话语、深化主题、阐释观点、润饰言辞的十分有效的手段。Periphrasis is a very active and expressive figure of speech, a deviant mode of expression by which to change the commonplace for the novel. In creating this mode of expression, people make use of no more than two psychological mechanisms─association of relation and that of similarity, and consequently, extended forms of metonymy and metaphor constitute the two most fundamental forms of periphrasis. In common communication it is a very effective means of constructing discourses, deepening themes, expounding points of view and polishing words.
