摘　　要：In this paper,a hybrid method to classify range profiles based on the wavelet transform and an evolutionary neural network is presented.The whole recognition process consists of two stages.The first is concerned with feature extraction where the wavelet transform is used to select the features of range profiles.The second is concerned with pattern classification where an evolutionary neural network is constructed as calssifler.
